TMA is proud to support Mentor Foundation USA. The Foundation’s mission is to provide 8.5 million youth with caring adults who can listen, guide, and provide meaningful opportunities. The Foundation accomplishes this through Mentoring programs in schools and initiatives that encourage drug prevention.
In September, a team from TMA traveled to Blacksburg, VA, to participate in Virginia Tech’s CSRC Fall Career Fair. On Monday, September 15th, TMA participated in the Computer Science Career Expo. On Wednesday, September 17th, TMA participated in the Engineering Career Expo. Throughout the event, TMA demonstrated the capabilities and design of some of TMA’s cutting edge software, and shared information about the company and experience gained from careers in the computer science and engineering fields in discussions with interested students. The TMA employees encountered an impressive number of highly promising VT students, and conducted multiple on-campus interviews.
TMA joins other industry partners in supporting the Northern Virginia Security Forum, Traumatic Brain Injury Golf Outing. TMA is one of many Sponsors for this event which raises money to support Traumatic Brain Injury research and care for children and adolescents by improving the lives of those affected. The Kennedy Krieger Institute uses the proceeds from this event to benefit the new Brain Injury Clinical Research Center (BICRC) at Kennedy Krieger. Through the BICRC, researchers and doctors will be able to propel clinical research to the next level to allow children and adolescents with Traumatic Brain Injuries and concussions to reach their potential, as well as provide much needed funding for equipment at the rehabilitation center and support for financially challenged families who are transitioning from the rehabilitation center to their homes.
TMA joins other industry partners in supporting the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Foundation Scholarship Program. The DLA Foundation is a non-profit philanthropic organization. The Foundation pursues its mission by raising funds to provide services and programs related to scholarships, recognition, commemoration and transition of former and current DLA service members and employees.

The panel answered questions and entertained discussion on important issues and the challenges facing government contractors in pursuing business, winning new contracts, and preserving their existing contracts in the most challenging fiscal environment in decades.”
TMA attended the 2013 GEOINT Symposium that was held April 14 – 17, 2014 at the Tampa Bay Convention Center. This marks TMA’s third year as a sponsor and/or participant of the GEOINT Symposium. At the May 2013 GEOINT Technology Week in Reston, VA, TMA presented a briefing of Emerging Web Technologies and their application to the Geo-spatial Intelligence Mission.
